The Physician Masterfile includes current and historical
data for more than 1.4 million physicians, residents, and medical students in
the United States. This figure includes approximately 449,000 graduates of
foreign medical schools who reside in the United States and who have met the
educational and credentialing requirements necessary for recognition.
